Be concerned: I am always bothered by neck or throat lumps that have ear symptoms on the same side. Tumors in the back of the nose can spread to the neck and block the eustachian tube causing fluid behind the ear drum. Floaters are common and probably not related. Absolutely need to see ENT to examine ear, neck and nasopharyngitis.

Floaters unrelated: Have the hard ball in the throat and ear checked out by an ear note throat specialist. The floaters are very likely unrelated to these other symptoms. If they are new and especially if associated with flashes, have your retina examined. This will allow detection of retinal tears that accompany floaters in many cases. Doing so may prevent vision loss to retinal detachment.
