Maybe: It depends on the relation between one's anger and one's anxiety. Anger is often (not always!) an indirect way of channeling anxiety. If that is so, then the tips may indeed be similar. And also, techniques that are generally helpful for managing intense emotion might well work for both regardless--breathing techniques, visualization, for example.
