Scar inevitable: It sounds like you had a pretty severe injury. There are some options that a facial plastic surgeon could help with. A tissue expander in the forehead could slowly stretch the normal skin that could then be advanced into the grafted area with removal of the skin graft. A median forehead flap can be used for resurfacing the grafted area also. There will always be a scar but these can make less.
