No known solution: Pigmentation in follicles require proper 1)production of melanin (the pigment) and 2)the proper transfer of melanin into the follicles. If either of these steps is amiss, we will grey. In a healthy individual, when we start to grey is genetically programed. In an extreme situation such as starvation or malnutrition, we will experience hair loss, reduce melanin production, and thus greying.
