OTC meds then exam: Assuming your stomach is ok with ibuprofen, take 3 then 3 hours later take 2 Acetaminophen being careful to not exceed the updated maximum daily allowance for either med. While continuing to alternate these every 3 hours. That should help until tomorrow when you should be able to get evaluated and hopefully treated by a local dentist.

Salt water rinse: Salt water rinses. Put a half teaspoon of salt in a warm glass of water. Take some rinse and spit until glass is empty. Repeat at least 4 times during the day. You can also gently clean under the gums with a bent toothpick. See a dentist tomorrow. They can speed things up.

Salt water lavage: Local pharmacies dispense liquid medications for children with a plastic syringe. The tip of the syringe should be placed on the tooth yet under the gum. The salt water is used to gently flush out xs debris. You cannot do this too often, but you can do it too vigorously. Keep in mind that the idea is to remove bacteria, not to draw blood. Combine that with otc pain meds until first available appt.
