Some question: Xrt for dcis (van nuys. Silverstein). I question partial breast for dcis - the rest of the breast is at risk, not just the cavity. In us, imrt cost 5-10x simple. Ask what your er/pr status is and why opposed tangents for 17 fractions (whelan/canadian method for t-1) would not be appropriate for you, and get a 2nd opinion from another rad onc center/md.

Probably Not: Imrt is not generally used for right side dcis as there is usually no or little benefit over imrt and in fact I have seen imrt plans look worse. Imrt may be recommended to treat the right breast in certain situations such as for women with very large breasts, prior radiation therapy to a nearby area, or trouble positioning their arm above their head to name a few.
