How do you tell if your 3 year old has the flu?

See below: Influenza (the 'real flu') symptoms include high fever, severe cough, aching all over, bad headache, and fatigue. If you think your child may have the flu, please call your child's doctor and be seen.

Depends on symptoms: There are many things which may be called "flu." influenza is an illness typically with fever, respiratory symptoms and body aches. Stomach flu usually has vomiting, diarrhea and/or fever. To complicate things, influenza can also sometimes cause GI symptoms. If your child seems very ill or if you are having trouble keeping fluids down, see your doctor.
