See dentist: You need to see a dentist as soon as possible for evaluation and treatment. Facial swelling is a key sign that he infection needs immediate attention. You may need an extraction or root canal at the least. If you have any difficulty breathing, swallowing, or develop a fever, consider it an emergency and head to your local emergency room.

Immediate attention!: Take some otc medication such as advil, aleve, (naproxen) Motrin or what you normally take for a headache for pain, then see a dentist as soon as possible, like today! a swollen cheek associated with a toothache suggests an infection. Infections can easily spread throughout your body causing serious complications, including death. This is no joking matter. You also need to be on antibiotics asap.
