Who said that? : Who told you you are not fertile after having a baby? Nothing could be more wrong. If you are having sex you can get pregnant. You absolutely can get pregnant before you have your first period after having a baby. Same advice as when you asked earlier --- please use a condom or avoid sex until you start birth control.

??tubes tied ??: Your OB would want you to let your body repair itself over a 6 week or more interval before you became active. If the tubes were not tied, consider yourself fertile ( you had a baby) and you could release an egg at any time.
