Does lexapro (escitalopram) have any correlation with acne? i stopped taking it a year ago, and gained 30lbs plus acne which i never had.just strange ya know?

Seems unlikely but: ..There have been others reporting this. Unfortunately it's made more complicated by the depression itself, and anxiety, are correlated with worsened acne. Weight gain is another complicating factor: a 30 lb weight gain in one year is surely correlated with significant hormonal and lipid changes. Perhaps other colleagues here will have more information. You should have your doc follow you closely.
