Time: Treatment for coccygeal fractures is conservative and time will heal the bone. Symptomatic treatment is necessary. You'll need to get a "donut" balloon to sit on to take weight off of the fracture. If it goes on to not heal, sometimes we do an operative excision of the fragment.
