It will heal, but...: Most fractures will heal no matter what. However, it's best to seek treatment with an orthopaedic surgeon to ensure that the bone heals in an appropriate position. If the bone heals in a bad position, called a mal-union, it may cause pain, joint dysfunction, or lead to arthritis or loss of motion. See a board certified orthopaedic surgeon for an x-ray and treatment. Healing will take about 6 weeks.
