Possibly; depends on: Cause. Most common cause is norovirus; viral shedding has been shown in studies to last average of 28 days after symptoms resolved. Thus, yes, you are still contagious & need to use preventive measures like hand washing, sterilizing toilet (seat), bathroom fixtures (faucets, light switches, door handles), other items used by many people in household.

Depends: Depends on the causitive agent. Diffrent bugs have diffrent incubation periods and cycles. Consult your dr and wash your hands frequently. Use disposable paper products instead of towels.
