Depends : Depends on the depth of the wound and whether there are any wound healing problems. For example, if the wound is contaminated or infected- the sutures may have to be left in longer. Also, if you are a diabetic or a smoker - the wound may take longer to heal. Most of the time, sutures can be removed at 2 weeks from wounding.

2-3 weeks: Generally, sutures are left in longer the lower down they are on the body. Leg and foot sutures should probably be left for 2-3 weeks.

7-10 days: Depends on what your cut looks like. If it's healing appropriately and in an area not under tension, 7 days should be fine. If its under tension your body will require more time. Consult with your physician who can monitor your wound healing and guide the timing of suture removal.
