Depends: This could be a tension headache or a migraine type headache. However, it is hard to give you specifics without all the details. In general, most headaches respond to tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen though. However, if her headaches worsen or associated with a fever, then she should be seen by a doctor.
