Surgery: See an oculoplastic surgeon. This is an ophthalmologist who has taken training in eyelid surgery and plastics surgery. Or if it does not bother you, leave it alone!

Ptosis: Drooping of one or both eyelids from a weak muscle is called ptosis. There are many possible causes including acquired and inherited etiologies. See an ophthalmologist or ophthalmic plastic surgeon to determine the cause. Most of the time the treatment is surgical and very successful.
