A member asked:

Is sinusitis a permanent health condition ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes: For most patients sinusitis can be a self limited event treated well by medication, allergy control, and surgery. Other patients may have sinusitis for a very long time. Sinus surgery and aggressive allergy control will help limit the severity, duration, and frequency of sinusitis, but they may truly have chronic sinus disease.
