What does high grade partial undersurface supraspinatus tear mean?

Near complete tear: The rotator cuff of your shoulder is composed of 4 muscle and the supraspinatus is the on sitting on top--see pic. High grade partial tear means it is dangerously close to a complete tear. In this case, it means only the top portion/layer of this muscle is still attached; thus caution or else a complete tear can occur. Consult doc and physical therapist for care. Good luck.

Partial rotator cuff: This tear can respond to rehab, sometimes in higher level athletes a nagging injury will require tear completion and repair.
