A member asked:

When i feel well, my temperatur is 97.5. when i feel like i have a low grade fever, my temp is 98.5 and at 99.5, i am burning up. what temp is normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Avg nml 98.6: Body temperature will have normal variations and fluctuations in people and one persons nml may be a little higher than the average 98.6. A fever is considered temperature greater than 100.4. The temperature you have mentioned are not fevers. However at age 55 these subjective (what you feel) temp change can be hot flashes which may be related to female hormone changes, thyroid d/o or other.
