An SSRI: Some people have found that the ssri antidepressants (prozac, zoloft, celexa, Lexapro (escitalopram) and others) decrease sexual interest and sometimes sexual functioning. Some physicians have taken advantage of these side effects to treat people who have excessive libido and problematic sexual behavior. Talk to your doctor about it.

Hmmm . . . : I would be less hasty to medicate, and more interested in why you feel your libido is too high. There may be a mismatch between your desire level and that of your partner. Is he or she depressed, which can affect sex drive? How are things in your relationship? Is sex a place where your conflicts come out? I suggest discussing w/a couple's therapist & your doc before rushing to medication.
