Is it normal to get shingles at 35? i was just diagnosed and have had no underlying condition that would cause it to surface. any idea why it happens?

It can happen at any age although it is more common the older you get. It can occur early if you have a condition that impairs your immunity but it can also occur without any apparent cause. It should be treated with acyclovir, valacyclovir or famvir (famciclovir). Good luck.
