Rolled Ankle: An ankle sprain may not be as simple as some people think. There can be associated cartilage damage or fracture in the ankle joint. There are also tendons that go down the leg into the ankle that can be strained or torn. A podiatrist can examine to make sure this is not the case. As with most sprains, ice and elevation are key in the initial 3 days. Then, find out why you sprained the ankle.
