I noticed a small cluster of red/purple/brown dots on my left leg going in a straight line about 3 inches down my leg. should i be concerned?

Infection?: It might help to upload a picture of this if you can. Infections can spread up the lymphatic vessels. This is usually more linear. Linear groupings of red dots ... hard to say. Groupings of vesicles could be shingles. They usually burn and hurt, you are young for that but could be. Is this in an area where you shave? If so could be an infection in the hair follicles spread by razor. Have eval.
