May be nail fungus..: You should see your doctor and provide him with a large nail clip of the nail to send it to the lab for fungal analysis. May be nail fungus. Go see your doctor.

Toenail discolored: Toenail discoloration can because by many things. A fungus can turn a toenail discolored and thick and also can distort its growth. You can also have trauma to the naill which may cause the nail to be discolored.
