Laymans fibromyalgia: How about using the term myofascial pain syndrome. Hope this helps with the layman. Unfortunately with the medical community its fibromyalgia.

CWP, absent images of tissue degeneration, warrants Osteopathic soft tissues (fascia, muscle, tendons & ligaments) exam for local pain generation & dysfunctions. Signs of sacroiliac joint disorder & Thoracic Outlet Syndrome possible findings.
