No: Lactose is simply used to tell what kind of bug it is. You're fine with dairy.

No.: Lactose fermenting simply means this type of bacteria (e coli) is able to break down milk sugar (lactose). Dairy products will not play a role in causing utis. So no need to stop having milk with your cereal and coffee!
