Meniscus Tear: Pain with bending or squatting acutely with swelling lead me to believe you have a meniscus tear. Get to your doc to check it out.

May be bakers cyst: There are many potential causes. One of the more common is called a bakers cyst. This is a part of the posterior portion of the knee capsule that can protrude out of the back of the knee when the knee gets swollen or inflamed. In adults, it is often associated with a meniscal tear. If it persists, an MRI can usually determine the cause. Thank you for the question.
