Too much good thing: Differin (adapalene) and tretinoin are both retinoids, they should not be combined- it's too much of a good thing. The moisturizer will be helpful after applying your retinoid. Good luck! retinoids are fda approved for acne and fine lines.

Depends: Both differin and retin a (tretinoin) act similarly. Both can be a bit irritating or drying. One or the other would probably adequate. Be sure to continue to moisturizer well and use a good sunscreen!
