Seek help: Your complaints are difficult to fix without seeing a healthcare provider. Labs, exam and possibly an ultrasound would be needed to help you. Ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrom, disfunctional uterine bleeding and several other causes could be the culprit. Seek help as these are all usually fixable!

See your doctor: Irregular periods have many causes. Painful periods also have many possible causes. It's important to figure out the cause to best be able to treat it. Hormonal birth control options like the pill can help, but an exam, possible blood tests, and possibly an ultrasound can help sort out the cause and then find a treatment. See your doctor.
