A member asked:

They only had to scape cells .and says i need a transvaginal us done .i am so worryied about this don't know much on atypical grandular on lining of ut?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Atypical cells: Are they saying that you had atypical glandular cells on your endometrial biopsy? The tvus is used to measure the lining thickness. If it is large there is a greater suspicion that abnormal cells may exist in the lining. A thickened lining doesn't mean that you have abnormal cells, just increases the suspicion.
