Need follow up: People who had TB in chest can have old scarred out area. No need to do anything unless it is large or unless you have symptoms such as fever, weight loss, pain or shortness of breath. It is possible always for someone to develop reactivation. It is important to stay healthy with good nutrition, no smoking, use of immuno-suppressive drugs etc.

Remain observant: Pleural TB after treatment may leave a scar and thickening on the pleura and/ or on the lung. This can reactivate if one becomes seriuosly ill, immune deficient, takes steroids etc. Most likely will remain dormant and not an issue. Periodic exams and x-ray are reasonable measures.
