Go to the ER: Or see your psychiatrist asap. Mania can have serious consequences and a manic episode usually predisposes you to a depressive episode. Listen to your instincts. If you are concerned enough to ask this question, you need to seek help. Btw if you are bipolar 2 you cannot be manic. BP 2 is hypomania, but that does not change my recommendation. Be eval'd ASAP: Do you have a psychiatrist? Call him or her asap. If not, yes, you should go to the er for evaluation. Or perhaps you are seeing a non-md professional: clinical psychologist, therapist. In that case he r she should be your first point of contact, but an evaluation by a physician is a must. Good luck (ps: that you ask at all is a good sign. Don't delay, n case your judgement grows impaired).
