Talk to your doctor.: Renal cell carcinoma (rcc) is a cancer of the kidney. Staging is not definite till after tumor is removed. Stage 2 rcc is a tumor only in the kidney and bigger then 7 centimeters (~3 inches). Rcc on average grows at a rate of about 0.3 cm/year (1/8 of an inch), so in 4 months it should not grow very much. However, metastatic disease is always a risk, but unlikely in only 4 months.
