Hordeolum: If you referring to upper eyelid, it might be a hordeolum ( acute infection of eyelid glands). This is usually associated with pain upon blinking or movement of eyelid, redness , and sometimes with eyelid inflammation. If pain is above the eyebrow, it could be sinusitis, migraine headache, or iritis. You need a compresensive eye exam to determine the diagnosis.
