Foot pain: This does sound like a problem from ill fitting shoes. Be sure the new pair fits well. You may need to see a podiatrist concerning specially made shoes or special shoe inserts.

Try shoe inserts: Safety shoes can be unyielding. You need to have a cushion for your feet and since your job requires these shoes, go to any drug store and buy an inexpensive foam shoe insert. You most likely will be surprised at the relief they give.
