Likely IBS: The symptoms you describe make me think of ibs, but you should keep in touch with your gastroenterologist to make sure nothing else is going on. This is especially true if you were never re-evaluated after staring treatment for the gerd.

See a doctor: Ibs is an entity of exclusion. It could be this, but before simply diagnosing one's self with ibs, i'd suggest you see a gastroenterologist for further evaluation.
