Explore: There isn't a one answer fits all for this question. I recommend that you first undergo a comprehensive physical with your physician if this hasn't already been done to check for physiologic problems. If no physical etiology is found, the next step is psychological evaluation. This will provide the opportunity to explore the "why's" of the matter. Take care.

Needs psych eval: Agree with the physiologc work up but also needs simultaneous psych evaluation and management. It is good she has admitted to the issue.
