Stitch: This is almost certainly the familiar "stitch", caused by a fold in the pleura that lines the chest. Feels like a knife. Harmless but annoying. Take a very deep breath, inflate your lung to the maximum, and it tends to stop the pain. If shortness of breath or crushing chest pain results, get to the emergency room.
