Breast.: Breast milk. Period. If there is none -- well, traditionally, we start with cow milk-based formulas, and change to others depending on problems that may arise. But breast is best.

Breast milk: Breast milk is absolutely the most appropriate, complete, protective against diseases milk there is. And is free and ready to feed ! you will be creating a special bond with your baby from the get go.But of course if your physician contraindicated it, formula is the second best thing.

Breast milk: Breast is best. If a mom has inadequate breast milk, or if there is a problem with her breast milk, then baby formula is fine to use. Most formula makers have added omega-3 fatty acids such as DHA to their formulas the past few years; so these formulas are the commonly used ones.

Breast milk: The best milk to give to baby from birth to 1 year is breast milk. After 1 year, your baby can get whole fat cow's milk.
