What is your routine: Resting is one thing, but you should also think of whether you are exercising your back. You need to take care of our spine. Stretching is good. But also you need core strengthening. Maybe look into if your gym has any core strengthening classes. Core does not give you super ripped muscles, but it will give you an unparalleled edge in any sport.
