A member asked:

I had a permanent interstim stimulation 3 days before? what are restrictions for me, so that the lead won't move from its position, and fast recovery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ask your doctor...: As always contact the physician who implanted the device regarding their specific postoperative instructions. I tell my patients to avoid strenuous activity or heavy lifting for 4 weeks after the lead placement to allow scar tissue to form. Walking is okay but no running and no lifting anything heavier then a gallon of milk.
