Dr. Jesus Yap answered

Seen in the elderly: Isolated systolic hypertension is when only the systolic pressure is elevated and the diastolic pressure is normal. It is a common finding in the elderly and represents stiffening of the arteries. It's treatment is the same as the regular high blood pressure where both systolic and diastolic are elevated.
