I tried a new face lotion and when i woke the next day my face was slightly itchy and bumpy in the areas i apply them what is it?

Allergic reaction: It appears that you had a topical allergic reaction. I would wash off any remaining lotion and do any or all of the following: 1-take an allergy pill, such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (otc) 2-apply a topical steroid cream, such as 0.5% or 1% hydrocortisone(otc) 3-apply cold compresses.
