Yes: All antidepressants will change a person's sleep cycle, and with that change, "rem" sleep timing is also changed, as are all of the other 4 stages of sleep. It is not necessarily associated with nightmares per se, but the dreams can be vivid, and 'weird'. And, dreams occur in all 5 stages of sleep. If you are interested in taking control of your dreams, learn lucid dreaming techniques.
