Not typically: Wellbutrin (bupropion) can cause seizures, which could be mistaken for tias. Let your doctor know.

TIA or seizure: Abrupt discontinuation of Xanax (alprazolam) while maintained on wellbutrin could precipitate a seizure. It is possible that with its wear-off throughout the day that it could cause seizure-like events as well. Abrupt discontinuation of alcohol is also discouraged while on wellbutrin.
