Not likely: First off, they could have checked the cat's brain for rabies, but i guess they didn't. If it's still available, they should... On a personal note, i was bit by a racoon as a 3rd year med student... I got all the shots, but of course being a med student read up on rabies and had tingling in my finger for 1 year! up until the time you are supposedly out of the clear :) good luck!
