Probably not: Yeast infection is caused by something happening to change the balance of normal organisms in the vagina, yeast can grow too much and cause symptoms. Taking antibiotics sometimes causes this imbalance. The high estrogen levels caused by pregnancy or hormone replacement therapy can also cause it. Never seen it related to ev scan. Btw, my wife's family is from gloversville! small world!

Possibl but unlikely: The transvaginal probe should have been sterile and should have had a sterile covering (like a condom). Even if you are exposed to yeast it doesn't usually infect unless something has disrupted the natural bacterial flora that lives in your vagina. Did you receive antibiotics for whatever they were looking for or for any other reason? That's the most common cause of all fungal; (yeast) infections.
