Posture exercise: Yes it is absolutely ok! it may actually improve your posture. Children with scoliosis in the early and moderate stages are not restricted from athletic activity on general. Posture issues can be caused by lots of things including weak back and abdomen muscles, poor ergonomics at work or home. Sometimes working together with a pt or trainer can help identify your specific posture issues.

Examined: Your safest way to go on this is to be examined by an ostopath or chiropractor to get the proper information before beginning a weight lifting program. Some conditions can be improved by weight training and others can be made worse. Good luck!
