Get examined : Any lump-like sensation originating from the inside of the throat especially if palpable requires evaluation by a physician. Accompanying symptoms like hoarseness, a change in the voice or difficulty swallowing/breathing or signs of infections (fever, weight loss and malaise)are important to pay attention to and tell your doctor who will decide on the next appropriate steps for further evaluation.
