14 year old son has a large painless lump in his wrist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Overuse injury: It most likely is a "ganglion cyst" especially if it is located on the top part of your child's wrist. These cyst are not harmful and are often painless. Usually these cysts are caused from overuse - typing, video games, texting, etc. If it grows bigger after limiting the above activities, you should see your pediatrician to verify the diagnosis.
